L'Archipel is in an idealic and peaceful location about 3 kms from the fishing village of Grand Gaube in the north east of Mauritius. This village has small grocery stores, a post office, a restaurant and a medium sized hotel and all of the things you need on a daily basis can be found there.

The 8 bungalows and 4 studios are located in a very attractive complex with a nice view over the northern islands. The complex is directly on the ocean with a small beach and a swimming pool.
 
 
  Situated along the northern coast of Mauritius at Grand Gaube, L'ARCHIPEL, with its four islands beckoning offshore, is a bungalow/hotel complex. Encircled by the lush tropical vegetation and washed by waters of the blue green sea, it is one of the few places along the coast from where the view fully embraces the vast sea panorama in which are berthed Round, Flat Islands and Gunner's Quoin, almost riding at anchor.  
     
           
You can swim in the ocean at high tide and at low tide, you can cross over to a nearby island and swim there.There are pedalos and canoes which you can use free of charge. There is also a restaurant overlooking the ocean.
