An Unique Cruising Experience on « CORAL BELLE »

Embarkation is carried out on the Sunset Boulevard’s jetty in Grand Bay at 09hr00 in the morning. To leave Grand Bay, Coral belle makes use of it’s two powerful engines, “IN BOARD YANMAR” of 18 hp each. This propulsion of the engines able the Catamaran to maintain a good stability and facilitate it’s handling in order to slide in between the numerous boats anchoring at sea, the speed boats propelled at maximum speed, tracts of skiers, and wind surfs among others… This also allows to leave on time, without being victim of the capricious wind.

However, once the reefs crossed, a regular wind allows the skipper to put off the engine and put on the sails.

The team is made up of the Captain himself, his assistant, a sailor and a musician. If the skipper is the only one responsible for the good maintenance of the Catamaran, every one contributes and participates to make it a successful and unforgettable journey by ensuring a service of quality and by seeing at the guest’s comfort.

Everyone works as a team. It is therefore not a surprise to see the musician on board helping others to prepare the barbecue for lunch.

The way towards Gabriel island, while passing near Coin De Mire, is made easily and with comfort for the Catamaran « Coral Belle », is at ease at sea and it’s 40 feet’s able it to confront the important water hollows safely and if chance is on your side, you will have the opportunity to see dolphins who come to sail along with the catamaran to keep you company.

One and a half hour after its departure from Grand Bay, you will be in the path leading to the lagoon surrounding Flat island and Gabriel island. There the path is particularly narrow, with a consequent current, thus demanding the engines on again. Once this path crossed Coral Belle finds itself in a water of an incredible and rare clearness, where the alive corals are of various colors and the fishes numerous.

After a punch as starter, the guest can as per their wish go and discover the Gabriel Island, or explore the beauty of the lagoon’s marine life. The team then takes the opportunity to start preparing the copious lunch, which will be enjoyed under a shelter which has been straitened on the deck. You will be able to appreciate your coffee with the musical tones of the guitar rhyming with the island’s Sega, which without doubt be present to entertain the guests.

Soon before 15h00, the Coral Belle, will sail towards Grand Bay with a calm and favorable wind after a beautiful day, spent in an excellent atmosphere and with a wonderful team.
