Situated on the north-east coast of Mauritius

A well maintained and attractive house located in the fishing village of Grand Gaube. It has a large garden directly on the ocean with a sandy beach. A beach for swimming is about 50 meters from the house. The owner who lives next door is a ship's captain and can be very helpful in everything to do with the ocean and boats.

Kitchen with refrigerator, cooker and cooking equipment.

Additional Information: Grand Gaube is a fishing village with all its pluses and minuses. It is very Mauritian and charming and there are few European faces. There is only one restaurant but this is compensated by the maids cooking in the evenings if you want. The people get up early and are bustling about frequently at 6-7 in the morning. You sometimes hear animals such as cocks and dogs at night. There are small grocery stores, a post office and a medium sized hotel. All of these are within easy walking distance of the house and all of the things  you need on a daily basis can be found there. Occasionally you will want to do shopping on a larger scale or will want to visit other restaurants. This can be achieved in Grand Bay which is only 15-20 minutes away by car.
